CNC Heads Championship - Rounds 6 & 7 - Donington Park 18th/19th June 2016

This weekend sees a packed capacity grid for the latest rounds of the BARC North Western Centre organised CNC Heads Sports/Saloon Championship. All the leading contenders are entered and ready to stretch their legs on the sweeping Donington Park circuit. Up front we will undoubtedly see a renewed battle between the three special class leaders, namely Paul Rose, Garry Watson and Joe Spencer. Their three cars are noticeably different in concept but are remarkably equal when on track. Watch for Paul Rose’s Saker to take advantage of the long straights with Watson’s Westfield and Spencer’s Locosaki harrying him in the ‘curves’. Newcomer for this meeting is Championship sponsor Ric Wood in his recently acquired BMW M3 GTR, he is sure to give the other three a run for their money.

The leaders in the modified classes are here as well and there will be keen battles to wrest honours from Paul Dobson, Piers Grange and Clive Dix. Class E is particularly competitive with an eight car battle fought out in Anglesey. For any spectator new to seeing this championship feel free to wander around our area in the Paddock and talk to the drivers (they are always happy to talk about their cars and usually never stop talking
