SPIRIT OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

This award is determined by the Championship Committee and goes to a driver who may not be the fastest nor necessarily challenging for class honours but always tries and is willing to help others at times and fulfils the criteria of upholding the spirit of the championship.

This year it goes to a driver who has this season not only helped fellow competitors on more than one occasion and has done so in the past but is also one of the fastest and most competitive drivers out there. I always look forward to standing on the pit wall at Anglesey and watch him exiting from the last corner in a fantastic opposite lock slide. He has been challenging for the title most years since he started in 2006 and has been successful four times already. He is always smiling when he gets into Parc Ferme whether celebrating a class win or perhaps just a close battle. This season as I mentioned he has used his workshop to help several drivers when they hit a problem, something he has done over the years
