ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
I am instructed by the Committee to give notice that the Annual General Meeting of the British Automobile Racing Club, North Western Centre, will take place online via Zoom on Wednesday 15th March 2023 at 20:00.
BARC NW Members are invited to attend/take part. Anyone who wishes to do so should inform the Hon. Secretary at the address below giving their name, email address, and valid BARC NW Centre membership card number at least 7 clear days before the meeting.
The Zoom login information will then be sent to those complying with the above.
Agenda
Receive and adopt the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 16th March 2022.
Hon. Treasurer's Report. Approval of Financial Statements for the year to 31st December 2022.
Chair's Report of the 2022 season and proposed programme for 2023.
Election of the Committee. Present members of the committee retiring by rotation (every 3 years) in accordance with the rules of the Club are: Ian Buckley (Rescue Unit Crew), Phil Hosker (CoC), Graham Saul (Driver rep), David Williams (Steward, CoC). All have indicated their willingness to stand for re-election and are hereby nominated by the Committee.
Election of Officers. The following are hereby nominated by the Committee: Hon. Secretary – PSM Gorrie, Hon. Treasurer – D Aukland.
Any other formal business which may properly be dealt with at an Annual General Meeting.
Agenda items and Nominations for Committee members
We invite members to put these forward in writing/email. In the case of Nominations for Committee, it must be with the knowledge and consent of the person nominated, who must be a member of the BARC NW Centre, and who must be proposed and seconded by two members of the BARC NW Centre. Persons nominated should submit a short personal statement of what they feel they can offer the committee.
